Bisnow is a B2B platform serving the commercial real estate industry, covering news, events, and marketing across markets in the U.S., Canada, the UK and Ireland. Biscred, a Bisnow company, is a sales enablement and prospecting tool that helps its customers find prospects across commercial real estate through an intelligent database.
I built and launched the company‘s website-visitor identification product. Customers install a tag on their site, traffic goes out to identity vendors, and enriched contacts come back to them. It opened a new revenue line, and I extended it into programmatic advertising along with the campaign reporting customers use to judge their ad spend. Just over a hundred campaigns have run through it for roughly fifty-seven advertisers.
I am the tech lead for the data engineering team behind the platform. That is a database of 26 million companies, 9 million contacts, and 4 million buildings, served by a set of services deployed on Kubernetes. I currently own the rebuild of our ingestion pipeline, replacing a set of microservices with a single Postgres pipeline that takes company, person, and building data through standardization, identity resolution, validation, and scoring. It runs alongside production rather than in the live path, so nothing ships until the cutover is a deliberate decision.
As the org contracted I also picked up product responsibility, sharing roadmap and prioritization with our product manager and writing the requirements for what the team builds. Most of what I am proud of here is less about architecture than about continuity. Engineering went from fifteen people to three across several restructurings, and the services kept shipping. I have also built internal AI tooling, including MCP servers now used across the company, so people outside engineering can answer their own questions against platform data.
